Pet Portrait: Marley the Yellow Lab
With Cassidy before this portrait of Marley here, Yellow Labs are quickly catching up to the front of the pack of breeds that I have drawn the most (along with black labs and beagles, so I guess you could say labradors on the whole are most definitely in the lead). Considering I’ve never met one that isn’t an enthusiastically happy pup, I can see why they’re beloved by so many people!

Progress Pics:
Time-Lapse Video: I think I am going to go back to letting my iPhone focus on its own because watching these time-lapse videos once they’re complete is really making me realize that when I think I’ve focused locked it correctly myself on the small phone screen it often turns out that isn’t at all the case. Sigh… Someday I will actually provide a decent video of the process.
Time Spent: 41 hours and 50 minutes
Up Next: Things have actually gotten pretty busy for me, with 3 to 4 commissions already lined up. Time to get to work!
Until next time! Lauren H.
