This is where you can find all the detailed writeups for all my artwork, as well as the occassional random post.

Pet Portrait: Rosie the Goldendoodle

Because Rosie's portrait was a gift, I didn't get to ask her owner what breed she is. I'm guessing either a Labradoodle or Goldendoodle, but I can't be sure. Any guesses out there?

Original Photos: Worked from a photo of a photo on this one. Luckily it's still a decent enough quality pic, so coloring and determining detail wasn't really an issue. I did have to make up part of the ear and chest, but again, that could've been much worse.

Time Spent: 15 hours 48 minutes

Up Next: I'm trying to get through some head issues to get back to being OK with staring at my computer for hour after hour. Once that's the case I'll be finishing up on a new beagle for the portfolio. Then I have a Boston Terrier that won a recent auction, as well as a family portrait of three dogs. Looking forward to that one since I haven't done that many dogs in one drawing in a while.

Until next time! Lauren H.
