Pet Portrait: Willow the Cat

Willow Small.jpg

My dogs were clearly feeling slighted with this recent foray into cat portraiture because they took it upon themselves to sneak a dog hair onto this drawing to be forever immortalized in the scan. You may never see it (and, thus, I should've just kept it to myself), but I do. And it will haunt me for the rest of my days...

Progress Pics: I warned everyone before, now that I'm doing timelapse videos in addition to keeping time and taking progress pics, something was going to get lost in the shuffle. I did better than last time when I completely forgot progress pics, but two pictures isn't much better... Don't worry, though, I've stuck a post it note to my computer reminding me of everything I must keep track of while drawing. Fingers crossed I actually pay attention to it!

Timelapse Video: I use the time-lapse feature on the iphone, and then speed that up to 4x in iMovie.

Time Spent: 20 hours and 53 minutes

Up Next: Dalmatians or St. Louis Cardinals... I still haven't decided. Though Dalmatians and the Cards do go hand in hand considering the opening ceremony each season, so chances are whichever I choose to do first, I'll do the second right after.

Until next time! Lauren H.
