Pet Portrait: Charlotte the Black Lab

Looking back through my portfolio I was surprised to see how long it's been since I've drawn a black lab. I thought I had done more, honestly, though that could be because spending time at my parent's house means I am always surrounded by the breed, so my idea of their prevalence is a bit skewed. Oh well, that just makes drawing Charlotte all the more special!

Time Spent: 17 hours and 10 minutes

Up Next: This is the first of 4 gifts being given this Christmas, so I should be posted a few more portraits in the next few days. And now that the holiday season is behind us I will getting back to portraits that I'll be able to post progress pics of on my Facebook and Instagram pages as I go. I have some reference pics of two dalmations lying around her somewhere, so maybe I'll start there!

Until next time! Lauren H.
