Pet Portrait: Bailey the Flat-Coated Retriever Mix
Write here...Now that Christmas has come and gone I can finally share the last pet portrait I completed for someone of their beloved dog, Bailey. Hope the recipient liked their gift!
Original Photo:
A few words on Bailey from her family: "Bailey was a beautiful, solid black, Chow/Flat-coat Retriever mix with a black and pink tie-dyed looking tongue that was rescued from the Humane Society of Missouri at 8 weeks old. She filled our lives with love, laughter and companionship for 15-1/2 years. We all grew and learned a lot with her throughout those years. She loved the water, was gentle, protective and fun. There will forever be a special place in our hearts, with great memories of having her in our Family."

Up Next: I'm finally going to my first Blues' game of the season this January, so I'm hoping that I can run down to the glass during warmups and get some decent photos of the players. I also have a meeting coming up in the hopes of collaborating with someone on illustrating a short story for them, so fingers crossed that goes well. Wish me luck on both fronts!
Until next time! Lauren H.
