Pet Portrait: Jack the Mountain Cur

For my last commissioned portrait before Christmas, I got to spend some time looking at this precious Mountain Cur (a breed of dog I hadn't even heard of until today) rescued from the side of the road after being hit by a car. I kind of want to steal him.

Up Next: While I look forward to seeing what the next breed of dog someone will bring me to draw will be, it is nice to know that I can finally relax into the upcoming holiday break. I'm sure I'll find some time to work in some drawing, though, possibly finally returning to my Couple's Counseling series.
