Pet Portrait: King the Australian Shepherd

Ever since my portrait display back in July I have been spending many weekends at the AKC Museum of the Dog meeting other local artists and the featured dog of the week.  Basically if you're a dog lover you should stop by sometime.  There's great art and great people, all just as obsessed with their pets as you are.  One such pet is this Australian Shepherd, King, a prize winning show dog.

Up Next: Continuing to work on building the portfolio with new breeds.  Looks like there is a good chance I will be drawing a Husky Mix next if my persistent pestering pays off.  But if that falls through, I have a Collie on the to do list as well.
